greentec steel from voestalpine stands for premium quality in harmony with ecological requirements. The maximumCO₂ emissions are only 2.21 kg CO₂e/kgsteel – a significant difference to conventional steel products.

The new heavy plates are thermomechanically rolled, weldable and bendable fine-grained structural steels that combine the following advantages: high strength and toughness, excellent weldability and easy bendability.
